In drive technology, the trend is towards ever more complex cable systems and fully cabled modules. The quantity of data and speed of transmission are simultaneously rising rapidly. Interference-proof, fixed and dragline-compatible signal and power cables are required. In addition, harsh industrial environments require extremely robust, permanently flexible cables that are long-lasting and reliable under high mechanical loads.

Plant automation in all its diversity

LEONI provides cables and cable systems for motion-controlled drive mechanisms in machine tools (MC = Motion Control) under the brand name FieldLink MC. LEONI is able to meet the market’s requirements through a smaller outer diameter, application-oriented cable assemblies and the use of special materials. We develop customer-specific solutions and comply with international standards such as UL, CSA and DESINA.

Assembled signal- and power cables as well as assembled drag chains are part of our product range. We meet high logistical demands (speedy delivery of a variety of quantities) by distributing orders among our production sites to quantity, product complexity and delivery time.
